KILLING LAZARUS
KILLING LAZARUS is a probing exploration into the minds of perhaps the country's most misunderstood, marginalized and undeserved groups. While developed in the same vein as iconic films like Menace to Society and Dead Presidents, KILLING LAZARUS is a film unlike any you have ever seen. It is both socially relevant and timely - touching on a host of subjects ranging from drugs and violence to less frequently explored ones like spirituality and mental health. This 117 minute film explores the layers and depths of a group all too often reduced to the easy, one-noted narrative of criminality perpetuated by pop-culture, entertainment and society at large.
KILLING LAZARUS was created in collaboration with some of the most notable new media talent around such as: YouTube titans Issa Rae (HBO’s- Insecure), Dormtainment (Comedy Central’s- Six Guys One Car), and Director Desmond Faison (Project Green Light DS / HBO’s- The Couple). From production to talent, our cast and crew have produced, directed, starred and written for several hundreds of millions in new media.
